Got Questions?

Let’s Thrive Through Them!

Humans Only, Please

We love animals, but with approximately 17,000 participants and their families, the environment can be overwhelming for them. Please leave your furry friends at home.

Family Fun for All

Children and babies can join the fun! For their safety, please stay behind the front runners. We recommend writing your name and cell phone number on their arm in case they get separated in the excitement. If your little ones would like their own goodie bag, please ensure they have a paid entry.

Not for Selling

Selling products or services by participants is not permitted. All official marketing and vendor opportunities are managed through the SPAR Women’s Challenge LOC. If your company is interested in booking a stand, please get in touch with Lindi Norval at
083 685 1989 or Lindi@eofe.co.za for pricing and bookings.

Braai at SuperSport Park

Please do not bring your own braai. We will have braai facilities for everyone at the venue, with fire provided. Only plastic bottles are allowed within the venue.

Men Participating in the Challenge

While men are welcome to join the Challenge, please note they are not eligible for any prizes on the day. They will, however, receive a goodie bag.

Easy Entry and Registration

There are three convenient ways to secure your spot and get your Challenge pack! You can purchase your entry at participating SPAR stores near you or online at sparwomenschallenge.co.za. You can also use the SPAR2U app to enter.

Important for Online Entries

If you entered online, you will be able to collect your Challenge pack from SuperSport Park during the week leading up to the Challenge.

Registration is Key

Once you have your Challenge pack (whether purchased in-store or via the app), remember to complete your registration. You can do this by scanning the unique QR code on your Challenge race number, which is included in your Challenge entry pack. For detailed instructions on how to register, please refer to page 4 in your My Tshwane Challenge Magazine.

Wear Your Support

While wearing your official Challenge T-shirt is not mandatory, we would appreciate it as a symbol of solidarity. No other specific clothing is required unless you are competing for a category prize.

Afternoon Delight

Yes, the time is right – we are starting at 14h00. Recognising that mornings can be busy for many women, the SPAR Women’s Challenge Tshwane is held in the afternoon. Plenty of water stations will be available to help everyone stay hydrated, especially if the weather is warm.

Ride Smart

We encourage participants to utilise alternative transportation methods. SuperSport Park is conveniently located just 1km from the Centurion Gautrain Station. For those arriving by car, traffic marshals will be there to direct you to dedicated safe parking.

Celebrating Every Finisher

There is no official cut-off time for the Challenge. We celebrate every participant and will wait for the last runner or walker to cross the finish line before concluding the event. Prize giving will commence at 16h00 on Challenge Day. Winners receiving prize money will be paid via EFT after doping results are finalised.

Medical Support On-Site

A marked medical tent staffed by qualified medical personnel will be on the field. Emergency teams will also be stationed at water points and the finish line, with ambulances on standby for any medical situations. The route is 100% wheelchair and pram friendly. For more information regarding medical assistance on Challenge Day, please contact Christien van der Merwe at 083 458 0337.

Results Online

The 10km race results will be available on the day of the race and will be posted on results.finishtime.co.za. Please note that the 5km event is not timed, so results will not be published.
